Hi, I’m Shane.

Having grown up in small town Manitoba in the ’80s and ’90s, I developed an ongoing obsession with nostalgia and all things analog.

Now, I find myself constantly seeking out the moments and stories that evoke feeling and emotion from my happy childhood and early years.

Exploring photography through film, in particular, has allowed me to share how I see the beauty in every day life. Whether it’s a landscape, portrait, or interior shot, I’m looking to convey the real and complex feelings of life in individual stills — and I hope to share some of those feelings with you.

Currently residing in Vancouver, BC, when I’m not out taking photographs, I can be found listening to vinyl, playing guitar, climbing mountains, or jumping in lakes.
